Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Travel Maps - GPS, Offline mobile application (the “App”) provided by Travel Maps. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Travel Maps provides digital maps, place search, offline map downloads, saved places, route planning, and navigation features for travel, walking, and cycling. Features may change over time as we improve the App.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the App. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
3. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, Travel Maps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.
4. Maps and third-party content
Map imagery, place data, routing, and related services are provided through Mapbox and other data sources. That content is third-party content. Your use of maps and related features must comply with applicable Mapbox terms and any attribution or usage requirements they publish.
Travel Maps does not guarantee that map data, addresses, traffic conditions, or routes are complete, current, or error-free.
5. Navigation safety
The App is a navigation aid, not a substitute for safe judgment. Always follow traffic laws, road signs, trail conditions, and local regulations. Do not interact with the App in a way that distracts you while driving, cycling, or moving through traffic. You are solely responsible for how you travel.
6. Offline maps and connectivity
Offline features depend on map packs you download and on device storage. Some features (such as fresh search results or route calculation) may require a network connection. Download sizes and availability can vary by region.
7. User content
You may save places and notes on your device. You are responsible for that content. Do not use the App to store or share unlawful material. Because saved places are stored locally, deleting the App may permanently remove them.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how location and related information are handled when you use the App.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS, OR THAT MAPS AND DIRECTIONS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVEL MAPS AND ITS PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR TRAVEL-RELATED COSTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON MAPS OR DIRECTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Travel Maps from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. App Store
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Travel Maps, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or the App at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or stop offering the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
